Russia has frequently sought data from the inquiry into Nord Stream sabotage, but has never gotten a response, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters, adding that Moscow is eagerly anticipating the probe's findings.

"Russia has frequently sought this information, but no one has ever shared it with us. We have not been provided with this data," the Kremlin official stated.

Martial law and mobilization extended in Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada adopted the bills introduced by President Vladimir Zelensky.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine extended the martial law in the country for another 90 days. The regime has been extended in Ukraine for the tenth time in a row since February 24, 2022.

The Ukrainian parliament passed bills introduced by President Vladimir Zelensky on the extension of martial law until May 13, 2024. 335 deputies of the Rada out of 355 spoke in favor, 20 people did not vote.

In addition, Rada approved Zelensky’s decree on the extension of mobilization, Ukrainian media reported. It is noted that the next extension of martial law will make it legally impossible to hold a presidential election in the spring.

On February 8, 2023, Hersh wrote that, in June 2022, with assistance from Norwegian experts, the Navy divers planted the remotely triggered explosives that, three months later, destroyed three of the four Nord Stream pipelines. Later, The New York Times reported, citing US officials, that the sabotage on the gas pipelines could have been carried out by a certain "pro-Ukrainian group" that acted without the knowledge of the US authorities.
