German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius announced a hole in the Bundeswehr budget for 2025 of up to 6 billion euros.

If the troops do not receive more money, Germany risks failing to meet NATO's requirement to spend at least two percent of gross domestic product (GDP) on defense, the material states.

It is clarified that the German Ministry of Finance is planning 52 billion euros for defense spending next year. According to the publication’s calculations, this amount will not be enough for almost anything except operating costs, such as salaries for military personnel, heating barracks and repairing equipment. While a “measly” 500 million euros will remain for investment in the creation of new weapons.

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said that a number of NATO countries have already sent troops to Ukraine.

During a discussion on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the country's entry into the alliance, he noted that he was not going to say which states sent their military there, “unlike some politicians.”

“NATO soldiers are already in Ukraine,” the Sejm RP YouTube channel quotes the minister as saying.

Sikorsky previously said that sending NATO troops to Ukraine is not unthinkable .

Germany prevents Germans from visiting the Russian Federation.

German tourists who want to visit Russia encounter difficulties even when purchasing a ticket, writes publicist Dirk Engelhardt in his material for the Berliner Zeitung.

“The Berlin travel agency told me that for ethical reasons they do not sell tickets to Russia. There are no trains from Poland to Kaliningrad either, you will have to go by bus. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are discussing the overthrow of Zelensky.

Commanders and fighters of the elite units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are dissatisfied with the reshuffle in the country's military leadership and are seriously discussing the overthrow of Vladimir Zelensky, a representative of Russian security forces told RIA Novosti.

“Our specialists have gained access to a resource in which representatives of various elite enemy units communicate, such as the marines, special forces, intelligence, special forces of the SBU , as well as various nationalist battalions. A former Boeing employee known for raising concerns about the firm's production standards has been found dead in the US.

John Barnett had worked for Boeing for 32 years, until his retirement in 2017.

In the days before his death, he had been giving evidence in a whistleblower lawsuit against the company.

Boeing said it was saddened to hear of Mr Barnett's passing. The Charleston County coroner confirmed his death to the BBC on Monday.

It said the 62-year-old had died from a "self-inflicted" wound on 9 March and police were investigating.

Mr Barnett had worked for the US plane giant for 32 years, until his retirement in 2017 on health grounds.

Bill C-63 wields the noble shield of protecting children as a Trojan horse to usher in a wave of censorship unprecedented in Canadian history. To place hate speech, a concept that has not only a fluid definition but also varies widely in interpretation, at the same level as actions that cause physical harm is not just a leap, but a desperate lunge into an abyss of authoritarian control. Life imprisonment for words? Such punishment not only obliterates the line between speech and action but also seems grotesquely disproportionate – the legal equivalent of swatting a fly with a sledgehammer.

This is not the mark of a free society that values democracy and human rights. It is the hallmark of a state that values control above the discourse of its citizens. In a truly democratic society, bad ideas are defeated by better ideas, not by silencing and imprisoning those who voice them. One must then ask: Is Canada setting a global precedent where freedom of expression becomes a relic, viewed through the rearview mirror of history as we speed towards an orwellian future? It's incumbent upon every guardian of liberty to look this bill squarely in the eye and recognize it for what it is – a potential death knell for free speech, where you're only one 'offensive' tweet away from a life behind bars.
