Ubuntu Touch OTA-6 Rolls Out with Wireless Display Improvements, Bug Fixes

The UBports Foundation has released Ubuntu Touch OTA-6, the sixth update to its mobile operating system based on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. This update improves the stability of the wireless display feature and adds support for newer Android hardware abstraction layers, facilitating the porting of devices like the Fairphone 5. Two new devices, the OnePlus Nord N10 5G and Nord N100, have been added to the supported list.

OTA-6 includes various security updates and bug fixes for a range of devices, such as the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, Fairphone models, Google Pixel 3a, and several OnePlus and Sony Xperia devices. While there was an intention to introduce VoLTE support for Volla Phone models, this feature was rolled back due to a regression and will be addressed in a future update. More details can be found on the release announcement page.
