In good news. In Sweden, magpies have been attracted to public labor - the guys there have come up with a "smart" feeder that pays the birds for cleaning up.

As soon as a magpie brings and drops trash into the hole, it is rewarded with food. It's funny that the guys didn't even have to create an algorithm to recognize garbage - the local birds turned out to be surprisingly honest.

Up to 30 magpies fly to one such "feeder" every day.
