According to a former senior Pakistani air force official and multiple sources, Pakistan is in the final stages of a $1.5 billion deal to supply weapons and aircraft to Sudan. The includes the transfer of 10 K-8 light attack aircraft, more than 200 kamikaze drones, air defense systems, Super Mushak training aircraft, and possibly JF-17 fighter jets.

Reports indicate that Turkey is exploring membership in the Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, signed in 2025.
