Steam out of the box is bloated. Animations, background features, recording tools… all running while you just want to launch a game. If you’re on a modest PC, that overhead actually hurts. So let’s strip it down.
If your PC struggles, aesthetics are a luxury. Stability is priority. Configure Steam like a tool, not a theme park. Your system will breathe easier. Steam shouldn’t consume more resources than the game itself.
