The U.S. Embassy in Addis Ababa, Google Development Group Addis Ababa(GDGAddis), and CAWEE are planning a TechCamp program to raise awareness for the impact of disinformation during the current conflict in Ethiopia. Disinformation impacts democracy, making the TechCamp a platform for journalists to analyze developments while collaborating on reporting to combat disinformation.

TechCamp Addis Ababa will strengthen media literacy skills, responsible reporting ability, and make available tools to conduct strong, creative, and effective professional journalism.

By completing the survey you will have the opportunity to express your professional interests and needs, while at the same time submitting your application to participate in early 2022.

The final dates will be confirmed in the coming weeks and communicated to applicants. Looking forward to your response and please let us know if you have any questions!
