Introducing Mearaf Tadeows

Mearaf Tadewos is a Software Engineer at Fairway.

She graduated in 2016 with Computer Science degree.
She has 6 years of Experience in Web Application development.
Mearaf works on more focus on the Backend development, as well as with several tech companies both local and international as a Full stack developer and UI/UX designer.

Beginning from recent times, her career is more inclined to blockchain backed and AI utilizing web applications.

She developed smart contracts and DApps on Ethereum, have been working with Cardano’s Atala Prism, and a little bit of Algorand.

Mearaf will be presenting her keynote speech, noscriptd “How to thrive in exponentially growing and diversifying world of technology”, at DevFest’22 in the Ethiopia Science and Technology Museum on December 10.

Introducing Tabitha Kavyu

Tabitha is Google Crouwdsource Community Coordinator and a talent sourcer at TalentQL. She is also an organizer at GDG Nairobi and OSCA Nairobi, an ambassador at Moringa School and a Lead Alumni at DSC UON.

Tabitha will be presenting her keynote speech, noscriptd “Google Crowdsource: Diversity in Machine Learning”, at DevFest’22 in the Ethiopia Science and Technology Museum on December 10.

He is a freelance Software Engineer and specializes mostly in Frontend Development. He has been working in these fields for the past 3 years. He has recently ventured into Frontend Engineer at an AI company.

Introducing Eyosias Samson

He is Software Engineer focusing on javanoscript, mainly React. He has been working in these fields for 3+ years. He has recently ventured into Jamstack web applications and cross-platform IOS, and Android applications using React and React Native. He also has worked with various local and international clients.


Eyosias will be part of the panel discussion noscriptd “Freelancing for Ethiopian Developers” at DevFest’22 in the Ethiopia Science and Technology Museum on December 10.

Introducing Abel Ashagrie

Abel graduated with a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from ASTU. Before getting his degree, he had cofounded a company called Y-Tech and under it, a travel guide platform named Ethio Locate with the vision of digitizing the availability of information of hospitality service providers to help them connect easily with local and international travelers.

After graduating he has worked with different companies, the major one being the company he co-founded, on several projects that span from Ethiopia to the US and Europe.

He is now the General Manager of Youth Technologies PLC which GigzHub is established under.

Abel will be part of the panel discussion noscriptd “Freelancing for Ethiopian Developers” at DevFest’22 in the Ethiopia Science and Technology Museum on December 10.

To do so, go to the email you used to register to the event, and search for “GDG Event Platform“.

From there, you will see a PDF file with the ticket information.
