French State has decided to support the presence of 1,000 African entrepreneurs at the “City of Solutions” by financing their transport and accommodation. This City of Solutions -a fair dedicated to projects and solutions for sustainable cities and territories- will last three days (4-6 June 2020) during the 2020 Africa-France Summit in Bordeaux. Since it will bring together African and French companies, civil societies and funders, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to present their projects and seek financing and partners.

In order to select the 1,000 invited entrepreneurs, the Summit and Digital Africa have launched a “Challenge of the 1,000 Entrepreneurs”. All the African entrepreneurs who have an activity related to one of the 7 districts* and who provide an innovative solution to make cities more sustainable can apply before 31st January 2020.

Please find attached the presentation of the 2020 Africa-France Summit. Here is the link to apply to the Challenge: https://digital-africa.co/en/explanation-challenge-1000/?utm_source=RS&utm_medium=banner&utm_campaign=challenge1000
