Hello guys,

We brought you a new competition. We hope you all heard about the Ethiopian calendar package developed by our community members during our CODE NIGHT program. So they are happy to host a competition which is going to be a good experience for all of you. REMEMBER, this is not something you can win huge amount of prize but, as of their suggestion, it will definitely benefit you in terms of different aspects of calendar, Date and time system. So, all the information can be found from this site which they provided. For further question, you can ask in the discussion group.

We hope you like it, since we are all in quarantine.

Happy Coding!

As you may all know, #GDGAddis hosts a monthly event called #CodeNight, which occurs on the very first Saturday of every month.

Among the projects so far, is Abushakir , which is a Dart package for handling Ethiopian calendar, date and time.

It has gone under production and is now ready to be used.

To make things interesting, there's an undergoing competition where you ,developers, are to build the package using ANY programming language other than Dart and get rewarded.

If you can't rebuild the package using other programming language, feel free to build projects using the already built dart package!

The projects can be done on any platform: Desktop, Web, Mobile etc. So feel free to participate

The competition is on and EVERYONE are welcomed to submit their projects.
