Even if the public opinion will be hugely unhappy, for obvious practical reasons, the govts won't have much of an option to say "Well yeah we all like free market, but not having a huge homeless emcampment accounting for 50% of the population is good too"

🇺🇸🇾🇪 - Ongoing US air campagn in Yemen against the Houthis.

The capital Sanaa and the port city of Hodeida have already been targeted.

Admin opinion :

With the massive defeat of Hezbollah in Lebanon and the fall of Assad in Syria the US and Israel might be inclined to finish off the Iranian axis once and for all.

The Yemeni Houthis have proven to be a very hard adversary to deter so far, the Saudi-led coalition failed to remove them from power and the previous US airstrike failed to stop Houthis attack on the Red Sea.

But now we have Trump with his strong pro-israel anti-Iran vision, and it’s likely that the air campagn will escalate and that the Houthis leadership will be massively targeted like Israel did against Hezbollah and Hamas, and the Saudi-led forces could restart the war on the ground too.

Like I said the goal could be to finish of the Iranian axis for good and put pressure on Iran, to force them to submit/negotiate on their nuclear program which could work tbh.
