🇸🇩🇸🇦 - Relations between Sudan and Saudi Arabia are clearly visible and continue to strengthen following the liberation of Sudan's capital, Khartoum, by the SAF against the UAE-backed RSF. This development must be seen in the context of the rivalry between the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with Saudi Arabia winning one victory after another, while the UAE's foreign adventures are collapsing one after the other (Syria, Sudan...). Saudi Arabia seems to have already established excellent relations with the legitimate Sudanese authorities, and is set to participate in the country's reconstruction. When Assad was overthrown, Saudi officials and diplomats were among the first (if not the first) to visit al-Sharra in Damascus, and the process is clearly repeated here.
