📋 On March 16, the Senate published a report on "the growing influence of consulting firms on public policies". In this document, the name of McKinsey, an american consulting firm close to Emmanuel Macron, and at the heart of a tax evasion case, comes up again and again.

💸 The main accusation raised by the Senate investigation: the McKinsey consulting firm would not have paid taxes on its French subsidiaries for 10 years. According to the report, the payments "amount to zero euros".

🙃 Even worse, at least some of the expensive reports produced by the consulting firms have been entirely useless. A 496.000€ study on the school sector was not used and deemed "too incomplete" by the ministry of Education, adding that "It is not possible to determine the direct consequences" of this study.
