Here's why I'm no longer buying any Ubisoft games: they are relying on internet heavily and when servers going to go down, you will lose access to those games.

Ubisoft just proved that by shutting down dozens of games including The Crew, AC, and many others. Some stopped working completely but ones that are still able to boot up, became glitchy.

Imagine that the only way to normally play Far Cry 3 or AC3 now is to use PIRATED VERSIONS. Legal ones are broken completely. And soon they will complain that people aren't buying their new games SOMEWHY.

Bugs can be crazy: the game was not showing trees because SpeedTree plugin was only licenced until 2012 on the machine where it was compiled.

The Outer Worlds #RPG is #FREE again on #EGS (and I highly recommend it).

And Thief 2014 is also available now, but it is one of the most questionable games of all time – fans of original Thief games were pissed of. The whole game is just a few levels that you can replay to get pointless items. AI is odd, tools are glitchy, etc.

Unreal Engine 5.5 will support skeletal meshes with Nanite virtual geometry. The feature will be in preview (so for real games it's expected to be at least after ~5.7).

But it's still extremely impressive: Nanite is now supported for vegetation, landscapes, static meshes, and tesselation-like depth effect from the material itself. Animated characters are the last missing piece.
