Meanwhile, PlayStation is down for over 12 hours now. For the last time such a significant collapse was over a decade ago. Fun fact: people are often complaining to game developers and publishers who can't fix PSN from their side. Fun fact 2: some PS5 users…
24 hours have passed since the PlayStation Network collapsed. There are no specific details or explanations from the company.

The previous big outage was in 2011. After the network was hacked it was offline for 23 days. The story ended with class action lawsuits.

The company lost over $170m back then and it's obvious that they will keep their mouth shut now to minimize any losses.

It seems that the new RTX50 series GPUs are not very good for a wide range of computations. Despite greater power consumption and more CUDA cores, the output is often the same or even worse than for RTX40.

Just discovered yet another GIF from my 2016 Owl Game prototype, made with Godot 2

At this stage the owl was able to land on nearly any reasonable surface, so it could land on the ground and on branches of the forest.

Also, I love to use debug information attached to the character. Sending it to the console or some corner of the screen is fine, but I really want it in the same spot the tester gonna look at.

One moderator got offended by Marek Tymiński, the CEO of the publisher of Lords of the Fallen.

Why? The CEO made a poll regarding genders in the game and based on the results renamed them back to Male and Female.

The solution? Moderator hijacked the whole subreddit, banned everyone else, and restricted any links except Bluesky.

Unity fired an undisclosed number of workers last morning by sending out a 5 AM email. The biggest loss is among Helsinki office. And this is the sixths significant layoffs wave in Unity in the last couple of years.

It's interesting that this time they attacked a cash cow: Unity ADs was heavily affected.
