It seems like AMD is fixing their initial 9070 prices: before NVIDIA announcement, they hoped to sell 9070 XT for $950, but since it's at best a 5070 Ti competitor, they are lowering it to $750. Meanwhile, the basic 9070 will cost around $650 for cheapest models.

Amir was awarded last year for his efforts to help the industry to pass the crisis. He summed it up: there were noticeable layoffs and studio closures every 1.8 days for several years.
It never happened before at this scale, the previous downfalls were usually shorter (less than 2 years each) and ended up with yet another growth. This time the trend seems different.
