Since "Rate my team in Counter Strike" bots are so common now on Steam, Valve is using a nasty trick — their messages with phishing links are not being delivered.

For bots it looks like it works. But users only see the safe text. So, people who used to trick those bots are mad that now they don't get their scam links. Found this in the profile of a scammer today and giggled.

Just got the original Sound Blaster Katana (not V2) as a gift and it's very impressive, compared to my previous 2.0 Logitech Z207 BT.

I mean, no shit, Sherlock, $40 10W speakers made of paper were worse than the $299 75W premium gaming sound bar.

So, it can run via 3.5 jack, Optical Input, Bluetooth or USB (in such case it will be limited to 24-bit sound and run via own sound card). It has RGB, several modes, software with a lot of tuning, microphones support, and so on.

The mids are very clear, the bass is kicking (especially thanks to the big subwoofer), but not interrupting. Modes (games, movies, night, etc) can be switched even without the software by the special button, but I prefer the default one, it's well-balanced.

Affinity, that went down from stores a few weeks ago, resurfaced as a freemium app.

The company, purchased by Canva AI last year, was the biggest competitor of Adobe in 2D graphics editing. And the main advantage was one-time payment.

But now the payment is gone and Affinity is “free, forever”. And also now vector and pixel tools are merged into one universal app, which is very impressive.
