Game companies started to lose market value because of Google. The new Project Genie (Ginnie 3 Beta) can hallucinate "stable" "interactive 3D scenes". And investors believed that this time slop will definitely replace games.
The videos the new algorithm makes are not 3D, not truly interactive, and absolutely unstable. They require an insane amount of compute power to run morphing videos at somewhat 30 FPS. The camera can't move really fast even if needed.
You may ask: wait, but wasn't this already the case? Yes, the new model is just a bit more stable, but still wobbly as hell.

The governments of Bulgaria and the US simultaneously arrested people at 30 different locations and took their servers down.
Three biggest Torrent trackers in Europe (Zamunda, ArenaBG, and Zelka) are now down and their owners, accountants, and other involved parties are under arrest.
Bulgaria is the poorest country in Europe and there are no regional Steam prieces or good deals for streaming. People here believe in piracy as if it was their first amendment. They absolutely can't afford €70 games.

While OpenAI is running out of money to burn, NVIDIA is giving up on their $100Bn investment package they kinda announced in SEPTEMBER. Now they will "participate but not with that amount of money".
In private conversations NVIDIA shared that OpenAI is not doing their best and not working hard anymore to really improve the tech. And that every competitor is doing a better job.

Meanwhile Admin unironically has Krita on Steam (for years). Officially paid version of a generally free app. Good for drawing, not so for editing. I still like their quality and brushes.

Infinity Nikki (RT, Max Settings)
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3164330/Infinity_Nikki/ — it's free, requires NASA grade PC to run at max settings, takes 15 minutes to compile shaders on an average PC, and has traversal stutters, but less serious than other UE5 games.
The team behind it re-wrote physics (so cloth can be layered), transparency rendering (so items can be semi-transparent and layered), created asset-streaming via GPU (to minimize CPU-stutters).
All to make a confusing fashion-gacha game.
