Seems like Google has finally widely started rolling out the Collections feature in Google Play Store.
Google Play Collections is currently available in the United States and is becoming available in select countries including Australia, Canada, Great Britain, Brazil, Mexico, Indonesia, India, and Japan. Availability in more countries was announced at I/O 2025 and we are finally seeing a wider rollout now.

Google Messages app replaces the Google's G Logo with the text version of "Google" in header.
The G logo definitely looked better and it's being replaced just for the sake of consistency because a few apps like Google Drive, Calendar has "Google" in the sidebar.
This is rolling out in beta for some users, I spotted this change back in July.

Update • The app seem to install fine on any device running Android 15+. So you can just install the apks.
Some custom roms already comes with the 2025 feature prop, so might be able to directly install it from Play Store.

Update • The app seem to install fine on any device running Android 15+ without root. So you can just install the apks. AI features won't work though.
The reason I am saying it's pixel 10 only because the manifest contains -
This means you can't install this app currently on other pixel devices directly from play store if the system doesn't contain this feature flag.
However the apks file can be installed on older pixels but AI powered features may not work (requires AI Core probably).
It's also possible that other pixels can get it too directly from play store, but we have to wait for Google's announcement.
