A few other changes I noticed in Google Photos are -
1. A minor UI change of the share menu when you share albums.
2. You will be able to add custom text below albums. Google will show some pre-defined questions like "Why was this memory important?", " "What was special about this memory?", "What was your favourite part of this moment?"

Google Message is testing something with chat background
Recent update of Google Message (20231110, through flags) brought this change which gives a feels like a wallpaper and changes colors according to system (Material You) but has more darker colors. This is applying for RCS chat only. There are no settings/menus to change anything about it. There are two possibilities -
1. Allowing users to change the chat background like we do in WhatsApp.
2. This is just testing for now and probably may not make its way into a stable version.

Profiles in Google Messages seems to be coming soon
The Profile Sharing option is now called Profile Discovery. The settings are wrapped inside a webview where you can turn on/off profile discovery, change name and profile picture.
I have been looking at this page for more than a month and it always showed me a server error but with the Google Message update (20231110), Google has enabled it :p

With profile discovery on, Google Messages is fetching pictures from Google accounts directly. Even if you have a custom picture set on any contact, it will ignore that. If you use Google Message without a Google account, it will use the custom picture that you have set. 🤡 (Thanks to https://twitter.com/LinkofHyrule89/status/1724373386812604521 for pointing it out, and seems like he also got the option of profile discovery in advance settings, indicating that Google may be testing/rolling this thing in batches )

This is experimental and hidden behind flags (encrypted, so I don't know which one exactly). Both light and dark themes have a gradient pattern from top to bottom in the header area. The big fat chips are slimmed now.

Google is rolling out the ability to add notes in search results in Google app
Notes can be added in the articles of discover feeds and search results inside the Google app. Your notes will be reviewed (if they meet community guidelines) before they can appear for other people to see.
It's a part of search labs and can be turned on by tapping on the search labs icon on the top left inside Google app.
