Dallas police rescue 5 women, arrest 2, after human trafficking victims come forward

Two victims told police they were forced into prostitution, Dallas police said.

After two women came forward about being forced into prostitution, Dallas police arrested two human trafficking suspects during a raid Friday, police said on Monday.

Five women were found at an apartment complex in the 5900 block of Arapaho Road in Far North Dallas, the commander of the Dallas police vice unit said on Monday during a news conference. One more woman came forward after.

Police said Arely Lopez-Guzman and Fabiola Cardenas, who are both 38, each face two charges of compelling prostitution and two charges of trafficking a person.
