Recycling old technologies never ceases to amaze me, however back in the day atleast they were conscious about pollution and toxic waste, and did not use Lithium which is known to harm the environment, soil, air, and water.
To process one ton of lithium, you need approximately 500,000 gallons of water.
Back in the day they fueled batteries by Sodium-ion which is much more cleaner, more powerful and more safer for the environment!
