Current situation of apps which are on Play Store, There are a lot of permissions that are pre-allowed and explained on the play store page. When You click install, You agree to all of them. Only few like storage, camera, mic, location etc is asked manually.

Now imagine, when Apps on Google Play store can do this, what will 3rd Party Apps do to You?

When You sideload an app (Install an apk), You allow the permissions by default, except Few that requires manual permissions.

So Beware before installing Mods from Random Places, Movies Apps which asks for storage permissions, Truecaller Mods (the original Truecaller app runs on the contacts permission, so u will allow that, but that same permission can be used to extract your contacts and send to an unknown server, injected by the Mod Guy), Same goes for File explorer, Obviously You will allow storage permission, that's how File Managers work. But as storage permission is allowed. Anyone can inject their own code to copy your specific directory like Internal/DCIM/ or Android/Media/com.whatsapp/ & Then Share that file as a "Premium Mod".
