⚡️⚡️⚡️🇹🇷🇸🇾 Turkey, Syria planning large-scale military operation against PKK

The Turkish and Syrian armed forces will conduct a large-scale military operation against the militants of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) if the West makes "new demands," writes the Turkish pro-government Hurriyet daily.

Turkish foreign minister Hakan Fidan said on Tuesday that Ankara has issued an ultimatum to the PKK militants in Syria, and if these calls are ignored, military action may become urgent.

"President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan has warned: if the PKK-YPG does not lay down its arms, continues to insist on another administration in Syria, and if the Western countries present demands in this regard, then a large-scale military operation with the Syrian state will be inevitable," Hurriyet wrote.

According to Hurriyet, Turkey made efforts in Syria not for the PKK-YPG to continue its existence.

"Now Ankara is implementing plan A. But plan B is also on the table," added the Turkish daily.
