🇸🇴🇸🇴❌🏴 — Puntland Defense Forces have captured the Turmasaale stronghold from Islamic State militants in the Bari mountains.

➡️ General Fuad Hanono (pictured above), PDF top commander was injured by an IED blast during the battle, while another commander and a soldier were killed.

➡️ General Hanono was successfully evacuated by helicopter.

➡️ Islamic State has not released any comment on the situation, casualties on either side still unclear.
