The 21st anniversary of the zionist occupation’s assassination of the founding Sheikh, martyr Ahmad Yassin, arrives as our Palestinian people recall his legacy and journey, which became a divine school and a guiding light inspiring our people to hold onto their rights, remain steadfast in their land, practice patience, sacrifice, and resistance, and defend the land and sanctities.

The assassination of the martyred Sheikh Ahmad Yassin and the assassination of our national leaders and figures have not and will not break the will of our people's steadfastness nor the valor of our resistance forces. These crimes will not succeed in achieving their aggressive aims of displacing our people and erasing our cause. Rather, the occupation’s crimes against our people and its assassinations of our leaders will only strengthen our determination and adherence to our rights, principles, and resistance as a strategic choice to reclaim our rights, liberate our land, and return to it.

The blessed seed that Sheikh Yassin planted in the land of Palestine—out of love, commitment, and firm belief in its freedom and independence—has borne legendary steadfastness in all stages of struggle and resistance against the zionist enemy. The latest manifestation of this was the Al-Aqsa Flood battle, a pioneering model of patience, sacrifice, steadfastness, and defiance in modern history.

On this anniversary of his martyrdom, our people and nation remember his eternal words: that our great people have proven throughout history to be the strongest in resolve and the most unyielding in will among nations. They possess the faith and unwavering principles that enable them to face all challenges, and that the immense sacrifices they have made have only strengthened their love for martyrdom and increased their courage in resistance and defense of the nation's honor and sanctities.

Sheikh Ahmad Yassin—may Allah have mercy on him—firmly believed in the role of our Arab and Islamic nation in defending Palestine, Al-Quds, and Al-Aqsa Mosque. He persistently urged its leaders and peoples to fulfill their roles and take responsibility in supporting our people, strengthening their steadfastness and resistance, and unifying all efforts to defend the land and sanctities, with Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque at the heart of this cause.

On the anniversary of the martyrdom of the founding Sheikh Ahmad Yassin, we affirm that we remain steadfast on his path and journey, loyal to our leaders and righteous martyrs. The assassinations and targeting of our leaders and national figures will not succeed in deterring our people from continuing their legitimate struggle in defense of their land, principles, and sanctities.

Mercy, glory, and eternity to our martyrs, swift recovery to our wounded, and near freedom to our prisoners. Verily, it is jihad—victory or martyrdom.
