🏴❌🇲🇿 — 'Islamic State Mozambize Province' (ISMP) terrorists carried out a large assault on a luxury safari camp in Mozambique and occupied it for 5 days.

➡️ On 19th April, ISMP terrorist invaded the Kambako luxury safari camp in Niassa Special Reserve, Niassa province in northern Mozambique.

➡️ 2 guards of the camp and 6 Mozambican soldiers were killed in clashes that erupted, the insurgents managed to occupy the camp for 5 days, during which they looted the food, money, fuel, vehicles and other vital supplies.

➡️ This is the first appearance of ISMP militants in standardized uniforms and their first appearance in the Niassa province since over 3 years.

➡️ The camp was fully burnt to the ground, including a civilian plane that was in its vicinity.

➡️ The reason for the ammunition to blow up are unclear, it is very unlikely due to heat as it is currently only 29 degrees, and the sun set about 5 hours ago.

➡️This is likely due to negligence or sabotage, an IED could've been planted near the armory to set off the ammunition.
