🏴❌🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇨🇲 — ISWAP intensifies operations against the Nigerian and Cameroonian army, overruns several bases in the last few days

➡️ On the night of the 11th to 12th May, ISWAP terrorists raided the New Marte supercamp in Borno state, this base is the largest in the area and hosts big amounts of weaponry, the 50th TF Battalion at the base was dislodged and the terrorists occupied the camp, taking with them 45 motorcycles, 8 vehicles and large amounts of military equipment, the rest of the base was burnt including 7 vehicles still inside.

➡️ The following night, the three bases of Rann, Gajiram and Dikwa were assaulted, 5 soldiers were killed in Rann and 3 vehicles taken, along with weapons and ammo, the next day ISWAP came to attack Gubio, but hearing the soldiers already fled the militants turned back.

➡️ On the night of the 15th to 16th May the join base of Wulgo, composed of both Cameroonian and Nigerian forces, was assaulted as well, leaving 3 soldiers dead in Wulgo and 2 in Soueram, as always the camps were looted.

➡️ To confront the resurgent ISWAP group, the Nigerian government have started operations targeting ISWAP positions in the Sambisa forests and conducted airstrikes on their bases, the 134th Special Forces Battalion is currently being deployed to the front lines as well

🇸🇾❌🏴 — Syrian government is conducting operations against 'suspected IS militants' in Aleppo currently, intense clashes and explosions are heard in the city.

➡️ Several casualties are reported and it appears an IS militants was captured by security forces
