➡️Three IDF soldiers were dining at the Wimpy Restaurant in Beirut during the Israeli occupation in 1982. When asked to pay the bill, they insisted on paying with Israeli shekels instead of U.S. dollars or Lebanese lira.

➡️While the soldiers argued with the restaurant owners, refusing to pay with anything but shekels, Khalid Alwan, a member of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP), said: "Don't worry, I'll cover the young men's bill." Then he pulled out his gun and shot them all dead.

➡️Later, the Israeli-backed Maronite Lebanese Phalangist/Kataeb Party captured Khalid. However, three years later, he managed to escape from their prison.
