🇮🇱🇵🇸 — Among the Palestinians that won't be released in the upcoming prisoner exchange are two doctors that formerly worked in Gaza: hospital director Marwan al-Hams and pediatrician Hussam Abu Safiya, a Hamas source tells CNN.

Safiya has been imprisoned without charge by Israel since last December, over allegations of "potential involvement in terrorist activity" after IDF forces stormed the hospital he worked in; he was detained in medical uniform, and his lawyer reports he lost over a third of his weight in Ofer prison, was brutally beaten in his chest area, and suffered irregular heartbeat.

Hams was captured by four undercover IDF soldiers wearing civilian clothing last July; he was forced into a white vehicle, and it is not known where he's at. Israel never issued a statement regarding his whereabouts.

All members of the unit survived.

On the 29th of September, the group detonated a "highly-explosive" IED upon an [unspecified] IDF armored vehicle near the "AlOyoun" street intersection, northern Gaza. The detonation resulted in "severe damage" upon the vehicle and its crew-members.
