Reference is made to the decision of the Terrorist Assets Freezing Committee No. 61 for the year 2025, published in the Iraqi Official Gazette No. 4848 on 17/11/2025, which includes the freezing of funds and assets of a list of entities and individuals associated with the terrorist organizations of ISIS and Al-Qaeda, based on a request from the State of Malaysia and in accordance with United Nations Security Council Resolution No. 1373 for the year 2001. This list included references to a number of parties and entities that are not associated with any activities of the aforementioned organizations. The Iraqi side's approval was limited to the inclusion of entities and individuals associated with ISIS and Al-Qaeda exclusively, and the inclusion of other entity names was due to the publication of the list before the revision. The correction will be made by removing those entities and parties from the list of entities associated with the terrorist organizations of ISIS and Al-Qaeda in the Iraqi Official Gazette.
