🇸🇾🏴 On the release of ISIS militants in Syria

The resurgent threat from ISIS terrorists continues to be actively discussed online. This is evidenced by the increase in attacks and their accumulation of resources to resume confrontation in the Middle East.

Well-known jihadologists have been sounding the alarm, painting an unfavorable future for Syria and Iraq, where militant activity has significantly increased this year.

❗️Recently, the Kurdish "Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria" adopted a law on full amnesty for at least 1,200 people, about a third from Iraq and the rest from Syria. A significant part were convicted for involvement in terrorist attacks as part of ISIS.

All those amnestied were released from the largest prison for ISIS members in the Gweiran area of the city of Hasaka, where fierce clashes broke out in January 2022.

🔻Although the "Autonomous Administration" cites humanism, such measures are aimed at creating tension in Turkey and Syria, hindering normalization.

The Kurds have repeatedly released militants to attract the attention of the Western coalition against ISIS, allowing them to bargain for preferences.

This will mean an even greater strengthening of the terrorist "Islamic State" in Syria and Iraq, affecting the overall security in the Middle East.
