Our opinion: it will take at least 1000 to 1500 companies or 10 divisions of CRPF/other CAPFs for area domination. Long term solution will need creating counter insurgency movements in Manipur, like we used to have ikhwan in Kashmir. Time for Babu shona is far behind, we need hard action. Border with Myanmar needs to be sealed and Burmese insurgent groups are needed to be bribed to co-operate.
