Why focus on Nepal ❓

Our assessment: Generally this region, isn't seen in Indian strategic community with the due seriousness, as it deserves. Thus we often see loose statements being passed by Indian social media users. Our ultimate understanding is that Nepal is going to be the next Sikkim, if dealt right. But for that, the common population should have the deep minute understanding of it.🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵
▪️Presence of a substantial pro India population, i.e. Madhesis
▪️ Deep economic ties of the other ethnic group, i.e. Gorakhas, with Indian state
▪️ Possibility of revival of monarchy, along with presence of pro-monarchy political parties in the mainstream electoral politics.
▪️ A potential threat of loss of cultural sovereignty to the aggressive CPC rules People's Republic of China
Before the amalgamation of Sikkim, similar political conditions, except the monarchy, were prevalent in Sikkim too.

🇮🇳India said relations with 🇨🇦Canada can be repaired only when the Dustin Trudeau government takes "strict and verifiable action against those who actively pursue anti-India activities".
