3 J&K Police personnel lost their lives in the Kathua encounter with terrorists. 2 more police personnel were injured, and an Army jawan, who was also injured, is being airlifted for treatment. So far, 2 terrorists have been killed, but the total number is believed to be between 5 and 9.
