▪️ Bahraich touched two districts of Nepal, i.e. Banke (Nepalgunj town) and Bardiya to the west of it.
▪️Nepalgunj town of Banke district has 28.2% of muslim population.
▪️Generally smuggling takes place from Bardiya for the simple reason that it offers forest cover
▪️When there are family relations on both the sides of the border, taking example from Indo-Myanmar border experience, we can understand that there might be a cross border nexus which is perpetrating or which might be perpetrating Jihadi activities in and around Bahraich, and this border, especially the one with Bardiya, should be monitored more vigilantly.
▪️Similar assessment is applicable for Kishanganj district too.
▪️Kinship across borders, also means existence of Hawala money, an important source of terror funding and thus this concentrated muslim population on both the sides of the border, should be singled out and monitored, given the fact that we might see an increase in disturbances in the near future in this region.

‼️Netanyahu residence targeted by Lebanon drone - PM's office
The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has confirmed that a UAV struck his private residence in the coastal city of Caesarea, but neither Netanyahu nor his wife were inside at the time. There were no injuries reported in the incident.
Two other drones fired from Lebanon towards Tel Aviv this morning were reportedly shot down by air defense systems.
