Russian President Vladimir Putin has accepted an invitation from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit India later this year, the Kremlin announced on Monday.
The invitation was extended during a phone call initiated by President Putin earlier in the day, in response to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam.
Putin’s visit is expected to coincide with the annual India-Russia summit, underscoring the strategic partnership between the two nations.
