Chandrayaan-5 Takes Shape as ISRO, Japanese Space Agency Finalize Design


India's space ambitions took a significant leap forward as the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) engaged in detailed discussions on the design of the upcoming Chandrayaan-5/LUPEX mission. The project received a formal financial sanction from the Government of India on March 10, 2025, paving the way for the collaborative lunar exploration effort.
