आज यहाँ हर्षोल्लास से दीवाली मनाई जा रही है..... हर ओर प्रकाश है.... राम धुन बज रही है.....लोग दिए जला रहे हैं.... मिल जुल रहे हैं...शांति से त्यौहार मना रहे हैं.
जिन लोगों ने 90 के दशक का कश्मीर देखा है उनके लिए यह अविश्वसनीय है. उस ज़माने में लाल चौक के नाम से ही लोग कांप जाते थे.... आज वहाँ खुल कर त्यौहार मना रहे हैं.
