The reason Champange problems is so sad, is because the girl singing is obviously dealing with some sort of mental illness and no one seems to care.. the "This dorm was once a mad house, I made a joke 'it was made for me" just describes perfectly how it is to live with mental illness and to make herself deprecating jokes to cope with it. The comment is so clearly glossed over and all her problems are described as "Champange problems", as if they're problems that nobody takes seriously and at the end of the story, the guy picks himself back up and finds another woman and has a happy ending meanwhile what does the narrator get? All she gets is "She's fucked in the head" with the imagery of watching her ex love with his new fiance through a glass window while she's stuck alone on the outside.
