Ok so no one knows how long I've waited for this movie and now that it's finally here.. I absolutely enjoyed every second of this movie. Mother Sofia Coppola has done it again! I loved the color palettes and the music and OH MY GOD the costume designer and makeup artist deserve a raise. Both Cailee and Jacob did an amazing job.
I wish the ending was longer and they could've done more explaining.. some people are saying they got a few things "wrong" with Elvis but that doesn't mean he was a saint. Anyways I'm just glad the sad final girl lana del rey vinyl movies are back!
Oh and this movie is definitely going to be my personality for this month <3

Lover was originally going to be called Daylight. What's the opposite of daylight? Yes exactly Midnight. At the end of daylight taylor says 'the things that haunt me in the middle of the night' Midnights is the things that haunt her in the middle of the night. Lover is the opposite of Midnights.
