If god is a supernatural creator of the Universe, then by default it is even more complex than the Universe itself. It immediately poses a question "Who created god?" And if your answer is nobody, that god has always been here, then my question is "why can't we eliminate god in the equation, and state that our Universe is self-created by cosmic evolution, similar to biological evolution on our planet?"
So my point is that explaining anything by pointing at god, it equals to say "Magic!", which explains nothing.
