[I use my best colors for your portrait] is so heartbreaking tbh because we all know the experience of trying to paint a positive picture of someone to our friends or family even if we know they're toxic, like deep down you know they're toxic but you're too afraid to admit it. Instead you paint a false picture in order to convince yourself and others.
