Aside from a few others who did somewhat legit cross-examinations with presentation materials, I thought AOC had the best performance in today's kabuki theater. (None of the cross-examinations were amazing... just good.)

She didn't pander or use partisan talking points, and she even called out the others who were using the opportunity to get a campaign soundbite. She calmly presented an objectively reasonable position, and when she did invoke the shooter's use of an AR-15, it was only to establish the range of the weapon and how that related to the security failure.

Her demeanor was actually the most stoic, with a subtle but strong disdain, making her come across as the only real adult in the room. The notion that she is an actress playing a Judas-goat resonated in this moment.

(She also referred to Trump as the President.. twice.)
