Palantir CEO Alex Karp was given an award from the American Friends of Chabad Lubavitch on Tuesday in DC.

Israel has no real manufacturing base, so this will take years to develop. Their biggest industries are software (27% of GDP), pharmaceutical [chemical] products (16%), and Electrical Components (12%).

They don't make Steel. or Aluminum. or Plastics. or Concrete. or Rubber. (etc) They import all of those things.

These, among other things, are the basic materials you need to build the factories and equipment needed to make weapons. They are also the materials you need to make the weapons. And, unfortunately for them, the world is going to isolate their economy long before they have time to acquire these materials and hire the foreign contractors to come build those factories.

"The theory is dumb because it feels contrived, leans into old tropes, and seems too farfetched and grand in scale to be likely" is not a sound argument. It is a kneejerk reaction that fails to engage with the merits and presented evidence of the contested theory.

As somebody who was forewarning about an Israel-Iran War PsyAct in summer 2023— when the Middle East was living in complete tranquility for the first time in generations— and who is regularly attacked by both Groypers and Zionists alike, this theory (and that's all it is right now) is the most comprehensive explanation for everything we are now witnessing in the immediate aftermath of Charlie's assassination.

I refrained from immediately sharing this theory publicly, as I knew it would not be well received, but I did share it privately, forecasting that we would likely see the Republican Party and its Zionist partners seize the opportunity to push Patriot Act-esque legislation, narratives, and ideas. (technocratic clamp down on free speech, and persecution of free thought) I suspected that there would be a rush to codify Charlie's ideology so that it could be turned into a commodity to be traded in the political marketplace of ideas.

I speculated that we would see figures like Benjamin Netanyahu use Charlie's memory to promote the interests and [future] military actions of Israel, while Israel continues to isolate itself geopolitically.

All of these things have happened in the span of a week. Some of them unfolded within hours of his announced death. Fox News, for example, was able to debut a one hour special featuring countless in-studio interviews just 72 hours after the event. That is remarkable when you consider the logistics of flying all of those people to NYC, scheduling their interview, and then editing the compilation into something comprehensible. I would assume those plans were finalized by Wednesday evening— to make it to air by Satuday— while Charlie's body was still being examined by medical professionals and the manhunt for the killer was still underway.

My point is that no time was wasted in exploiting Charlie Kirk's death, which is what I think makes so many of us very uncomfortable. The similarities to the aftermath of 9/11 are extremely jarring.

Which begs the question: Who was behind 9/11? Which of the two political parties controlled the government? Had the other political party just suffered a humiliating public scandal that drove the public to view the party in power as more trustworthy? And finally, whose interests were ultimately served by the resulting legislation and actions taken in response to 9/11?

If you are not stopping and asking yourself these questions, and drawing these parallels to our own past lived experiences, then perhaps you do not appreciate the gravity of the current situation.

We must be vigilant and careful so that we are not hoodwinked again.

I just completed a very productive call with President Xi of China. We made progress on many very important issues including Trade, Fentanyl, the need to bring the War between Russia and Ukraine to an end, and the approval of the TikTok Deal. I also agreed with President Xi that we would meet at the APEC Summit in South Korea, that I would go to China in the early part of next year, and that President Xi would, likewise, come to the United States at an appropriate time.
