Bitcoin CRASHES on Friday after China declares all crypto-related transactions ILLEGAL
The Central Bank of China announced that it will BAN financial institutions, payment companies and internet firms from facilitating cryptocurrency trading on Friday and the move caused the price of Bitcoin to PLUMMET.
“All cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin and Ether, are not fiat currency and cannot circulate in the market,” the central bank said on their website, adding they “seriously endanger people’s wealth.”
The world’s number one digital asset dropped over 5% to below $42,000 while other virtual currencies declined even further – Ether dropping 10% to below $2,800, according to Coinmarketcap website.
