US Navy to discharge unvaccinated sailors from active duty

All active-duty US Navy seamen face an honorable discharge unless they can prove they have been fully jabbed by 28 November, or can provide an exemption or religious or medical grounds.

Those that don’t comply will be blocked from being promoted or reenlisted, while officers who flat-out refuse can’t be promoted. Recovery from Covid will not suffice.

Even though 94% of active sailors have been fully vaccinated already, coronavirus has claimed more US Navy lives than any other health or accident reason, with 144 of 164 Covid deaths coming from unvaccinated members.

Mandate was imposed at our shipyards here in south Mississippi, mainly the only few real good jobs in the area.
