❗️HSBC's banking system DOWN - hundreds of customers struggle to access accounts

HSBC's online banking system and app both reportedly crashed this morning. (Downdetector)

Customers in the UK filed complaints of being unable to access their accounts on Monday morning.

HSBC acknowledged the issue but said it wasn't affecting retail clients.

⚡️Merck review by European Medicines Agency begins to authorize COVID-19 antiviral treatment - dubbed first PILL shown to treat virus

Merck has announced the EU drug regulator had started an expedited licensing process for molnupiravir. If given the green light, it would be the first treatment that doesn't need to be administered through needles or intravenously.

A decision by the US Food and Drug Administration is expected within weeks.
