Supply Chain Crisis to Hit Rural America’s Internet

The latest victim emerging from the supply chain crisis is rural America’s internet connection, as stocks of crucial parts such as semiconductors and chips are already running low. (Daily Caller)

Some suppliers have now been waiting as long as TWO YEARS for computer chips since placing orders, while AT&T already admitted in August it would miss its target of supplying connectivity to 3mn homes.

The crunch is unlikely to ease either - the Telecommunications Industry Association estimates demand in substrates needed for semiconductors will be 150% of production capacity in 2022.

No supply... just demand.

Marlys Davidson of the Los Alamitos Unified School District Board of Education said she was “deeply sorry for the inappropriate comment,” in a statement on Wednesday.

The parent who was insulted by Davidson said she “needs to step down” and “that there’s no taking that back,” according to KTLA5-TV.

It’s the latest in the string of clashes between educators and parents over Covid measures in schools.
