Britain braces for “EXPLOSIVE” Storm Barra as more than 3K homes are STILL without power 10 days after Storm Arwen
Storm Barra is expected to hit England and Wales Tuesday with gale force winds, driving rain and up to four inches of snow predicted.
The Met Office has warned of possible 'short term loss of power' for parts of the UK with temperatures expected to plunge to -6C (21F), which is grim news for residents who have already endured days of power cuts in the wake of Storm Arwen – which severed energy supplies to over 1mn British households.
Around 3,200 homes, mainly in Northeast England, remained without power overnight ten days after Arwen as of Sunday.
